GREAT TASTE
So looked forward to this flavor and so disappointed when I finally received it.
Absolutely no watermelon flavor at all. Just sweet and that's it. I won't be ordering them again. I did see some reviews on FB at how delicious they were but none raved about the watermelon flavor. So I'm glad it isn't just me ...
I LOVE the taste of these candies! Some of the most natural, and realistic flavors i I've had. I also love the texture, the crunch, and the size. It's a perfect bite-size of flavor.
I also ordered the peach buds in the zip-lock thicker film bag, and gave those 5 stars. Perfect flavor AND delivery.
But this product is 3 stars...The cello packaging for this product is just not good. The bag of a hundred or so candies arrived, sealed, but in one big block, fused together. Granted, I ordered during the summer, but I think a more air-tight solution would have allowed for the candies to arrive individually.
I had to tap them onto the counter to separate them - and it gave a ton of shards, and... well it could have been better.
Hey, i don't care. They're still totally delicious! And I'll buy them again. I got them for my kids and myself, and we enjoyed them a ton. But if you wanted these for party or wedding favors, you would be disappointed.
They do have a moisture pack in the bag, but it's just not sufficient.
I mean this all in the most constructive, positive way possible! Love Butterfields, and they do great work and good customer service!
