The Butterfields Candy factory is located in Nashville, NC, a small rural town just west of Rocky Mount, NC. Dena Manning , the new owner and operator, has personally directed, mainly her family members, the complete refurbishment of the entire factory and all of its equipment. Lucky for her, her family is comprised of some pretty savvy, smart engineers and they have gotten the factory up and running in record time. Longtime employees that took great care in hand producing this fine confection in big, old copper kettles, are back and happy to be back.
The candy we are making now tastes just like the original candy in their distinct, seductive flavors, especially everyone’s all time favorite, Peach Buds. We have been so encouraged by the positive responses we have received from loyal customers that we are back in operation and it has made our job easier and certainly more joyful in fullfilling our promise to bring back the confection loved by so many.
